There are various ways of getting to Croatia. You can of course do so by air, bus, train, car and ferry and your mode of transport may well depend on the country you’re travelling from and its proximity to Croatia.
Our main starting and ending points of the cruise routes are Split, Dubrovnik and Rijeka. And they are quite far from capital city Zagreb, however Zagreb is well connected to the coast by bus, train (except Dubrovnik) or by air. from Zagreb to Split or Dubrovnik using Croatia Airlines connections.
Due to Covid19 situation, this year has obviously been very different to a normal year so flight schedules have been significantly changed. That is why we are bringing you just links related to airports significant to our arrival and departure cruise points. Do check back regularly for updates.
The only international ferry services to Croatia are from Italy – no services exist from or to any other European country. However this is becoming more and more of a popular route, as many travellers stop in Italy before or after their Croatian experience.

For getting to Croatia by bus, there are coach services from all nearby European countries – Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic and Switzerland – into Croatia.
Whatever country you’ve travelling from, you’ll almost certainly be able to travel by bus to capital city Zagreb.
Zagreb Bus Terminal has a website on which you can check arrival timetables. However, there are also direct international bus services to towns along the coast (Rijeka, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik). Bus services to Croatia are very good, and cost-effective.
